THOUSANDS OF KILOMETRES of railway lines, through cities, countryside and wilderness, are being abandoned. From coast to coast, such lines provide great opportunities for establishing much needed trails and greenways for recreational, fitness, educational, heritage and economic uses.
This first national conference offers a forum for recognizing these opportunities and considering these challenges.
